Privacy

The short version

This is a static site with no accounts, no logins and no database. The only personal data it handles is what you type into the contact form, and analytics only if you agree to it.

Who runs the site

BestSolicitors is operated by [operator name, trading address and contact email]. For anything about your data, use the contact form.

The contact form

When you send a message we receive your name, your email address, the topic you chose and the message itself. It is delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service, and kept in that inbox for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share it with the firms listed on the site.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages people choose to send us.

Analytics

If you press Accept on the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics to count page views and understand which pages people find useful, with IP anonymisation switched on. If you press Reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. Nothing loads before you choose. The cookie policy has the detail.

Links to other sites

Every ranked list links to the firms on it. Once you follow a link, that firm's privacy policy applies, not this one. Some links are commercial, which is explained in theterms.

Fonts and third parties

Typefaces are served from this site's own domain rather than a font CDN, so loading a page does not disclose your IP address to a third party. There are no embedded trackers, social widgets, advertising pixels or comment systems.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Write to us through the contact form. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
